About Dasa Vayu

Dasa Vayu is the channelling of divine cosmic energy, much like Reiki, but Dasa Vayu works more directly through
the Chakra system. A knowledge of the chakras and the way in which the energy connects to the receiver is an
integral part of Dasa Vayu Healing. The healer channels energy to the body of the receiver and understands how
the energy enters the receiver’s body. Balinese people have been using this practice of Dasa Vayu for centuries.
The ancient practice of Dasa Vayu originates from the ancient texts of sanskrit which have been preserved on
Lontars (dried palm leaves), along with the philosphies of yoga and healing from the Hindu scriptures. In Dasa Vayu healing, the energy is channelled to the most sensitive organs of the channeller’s (healer’s) body and then transferred
to the receiver by way of mantra and meditation through the channeller’s heart and palm chakras, clearing blocked pathways in the receiver’s body.

Balinese Yoga

Made Sumantra has a unique style of Balinese Yoga that connects cosmic energy with the individual’s needs and
situation. Although using traditional asanas, pranayama and meditation, Made’s style of using mantras and working through the chakra system creates an accellerated level of flexibility, energy flow and connection with cosmic energy.
With Made’s knowledge of the chakras, ancient sanskrit and ability to see auras and blockages, he is able to tailor his classes to achieve the greatest benefit for each participant.



Pura Tirtha Empul

Pura Tirtha Empul, cited for world heritage listing, is the most important of Bali’s Temples and is Bali’s most revered
holy spring. The word “tirtha”means water in high Balinese. For over a thousand years people have been making the pilgrimage to Tirtha Empul to bathe and drink the holy water of it’s natural springs for spiritual cleansing and physical healing.

• No refunds will be made for failure to attend or to complete the retreat.

Dasa Vayu Healing Retreat cannot be responsible or liable for any injury, loss or damage of property,
obligations derived from travel arrangements, or disruption of the program due to circumstances beyond
